Ms. Eirini Papafilippou holds a Master of Science (MSc) with distinction from the University of Piraeus & New York University – Center of Global Affairs, specializing in American Studies: Politics, Strategy, and Economics, and a Master of Arts (MA) in Communications Policy Studies from the City University of London. She also earned a degree in French Language and Literature with honors from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology from the American College of Greece (Deree College).

For the past six years, Ms. Papafilippou has served in the Directorate of International Affairs of the Hellenic Parliament, having previously worked in the Office of the President of the Hellenic Parliament and the European Programs Implementation Service of the Parliament. Earlier in her career, she served at the European Parliament, the General Secretariat of Commerce, the Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs, and the Ministry of Health, Welfare, and Social Security.
