Mr. Alexandros Dimakopoulos holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), as well as master’s degrees from MIT in Business Administration (MSc, Sloan School of Management), Technology and Policy (MSc), and Civil Engineering (MSc). Dr. Dimakopoulos is also a graduate with distinction from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).

An engineer and business executive, Dr. Dimakopoulos serves as Management Advisor to Lamda Development of the Latsis Group and has held CEO positions within the Group’s companies since 2002. His career spans civil engineering, systems development, project financing, technology, and real estate development.

Mr. Dimakopoulos has also served as Advisor to the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF), CEO of Ideal S.A. of the Leventis Group, and Deputy Governor of the Hellenic Industrial Development Bank (ETVA). In the United States, he was project and technology director at Strategic Software Planning Corporation and Camp, Dresser & McKee (CDM), Cambridge, Massachusetts.
